Two hours for two locations, three hours for three
Plan two hours for two Paris locations and three hours for three. A one-hour session covers one location. Those lengths match how the Signature (€500) and Prestige (€800) sessions are built, and they give each location about an hour of the clock, with the walk between spots counted inside it.
This guide is for anyone who wants more than one backdrop on a Paris trip. It covers what each session length includes, how the minutes are split, which locations pair well, and how daylight and the Eiffel Tower's lighting schedule affect the order of stops. Read the sections that fit your plan and skip the rest.
Two locations need a two-hour session and three locations need a three-hour session. The Signature session is €500 for 2 hours, 50 edited photos and 2 Paris locations. The Prestige session is €800 for 3 hours, 60 edited photos and 3 Paris locations. Both include full posing guidance, high-resolution digital files, a print licence and delivery within 24 hours.
The reasoning is simple. Each location needs time to settle in, find the light, and move through a few different set-ups. Walking to the next spot also uses session time. Packing two or three stops into a shorter slot means hurrying, and hurried sessions produce fewer relaxed frames.
TipSignature is the most popular session because two hours and two locations is enough variety for most trips.
| Package | Price | Duration | Photos | Locations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | €300 | 1 hour | 30 photos | 1 location |
| Signature | €500 | 2 hours | 50 photos | 2 locations |
| Prestige | €800 | 3 hours | 60 photos | 3 locations |
No. The one-hour Essential session at €300 covers 1 location and 30 edited photos, and that limit is deliberate. Part of the hour goes to meeting, a short briefing, and walking. Splitting what remains between two places leaves too little time in either.
A single location can still give you variety. Trocadero is a good example. The main plaza is crowded all day, but the lower terrace, the side staircases, and the fountain reflections give clearly different frames within the same place. For Trocadero, I tell clients one to two hours is plenty, because the terraces alone supply several perspectives.
If your plan is one landmark plus one quieter spot, book two hours. If you only have one hour, choose the single place that matters most and let me work it from several angles.
TipShort on time in Paris? One well-chosen location in one hour beats two locations rushed.
Every session includes location scouting, full posing guidance, professional editing, high-resolution digital files, a print licence, and delivery within 24 hours. The differences between sessions are time, number of locations, and photo count.
A longer session does not just mean more photos of the same thing. The third location in a Prestige session usually changes the mood completely: for example, an open famous view first, a moody bridge second, and an intimate quiet street last. That contrast is what people tend to print and frame together.
TipThe Night Session is a separate one-hour option built around the Eiffel Tower sparkle, not a multi-location format.
The time is divided by light and by what each place needs, not by a stopwatch. Before the session I plan the route and the order of stops around the light at the hour you choose, so the clock goes to photographs and not to wandering.
"I don't give every location an equal slice. I give the best light the most time," Finzi says. A bridge at golden hour might take longer than a street in soft morning light, and I adjust as we go.
You will walk 3-5 km over the session, depending on your package. When two locations sit in different parts of the city, the transfer comes out of your session time, which is why pairing neighbouring spots matters. Wear comfortable walking shoes and layers. Pacing stays flexible, so tell me if you want to slow down.
The easiest combinations stay in one part of the city. Around the Eiffel Tower, Trocadero gives the famous view, Pont de Bir-Hakeim gives a moodier, more cinematic frame, and Avenue de Camoëns, beside the Tower, gives a quiet, intimate setting. Those three suit a Prestige session because the moves between them are short.
On the Right Bank, the Louvre, Palais Royal and the Tuileries sit side by side. The Tuileries lie between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde and offer geometric paths, hedges and fountains. That works well for a classic Paris look without the Tower in frame.
The Luxembourg Gardens, on the Left Bank in the 6th arrondissement, suit families and couples who want open lawns.Paris je t'aime, the official Paris tourist office, notes that the gardens open between 7.30am and 8.15am and close between 4.30pm and 9.30pm depending on the season. In winter the closing hour is early, so a Luxembourg stop belongs in the first half of a cold-season session.
Combining two distant areas, such as the Luxembourg Gardens and the Marais, is possible but uses more of your session time moving. Montmartre has steep stairs and narrow streets, so count it as walking-heavy when you plan a three-hour route.
TipTell me your hotel area and your must-have view. I will build the pair or trio around both.
Sunrise and the hour before sunset give the softest, most flattering light, so a multi-location session works best when it begins or ends in one of those windows. Sunrise is the quietest time at Trocadero, though the best of that light fades quickly. Golden hour lasts a little longer, which suits a route with two or three stops.
Season changes the plan. In summer, evenings are long and a three-hour session can sit comfortably inside golden hour. In late autumn and winter, sunset arrives in the late afternoon. One local guide notes that in November the sun sets in Paris between 5:33 pm and 4:59 pm, so winter routes are shorter and tighter.
If the Eiffel Tower sparkle matters to you, the official Eiffel Tower website states that the Tower "sparkles for 5 minutes every hour on the hour". It also says the golden lighting and beacon switch on when night falls, and that the sparkles run from nightfall until the monument closes. That means the sparkle depends on the sunset time on your date. The dedicated Night Session is built for it. If you want a day session to end near dusk, tell me when you book.
TipPut the location you care about most in the best light window, then fit the others around it.
A three-hour session is a guided walk, not a fixed schedule. Posed, candid and movement-based shots are mixed so nobody is standing still for long. I direct everything, so you do not need to know the city or how to pose.
Light rain gives dramatic skies and an intimate mood, and I work in most weather. Rescheduling is free whenever you need it, so a bad forecast never costs you the date. Sessions are designed for couples and families of up to 6 people. For larger groups, contact me directly.
If you are travelling with children or older relatives, mention it when you write. A two-hour, two-location session is often the more comfortable length for a family, because it keeps the walking lighter.
Send your dates, the session you have in mind, and the locations you like. I will recommend the length and the route from there. A €30 non-refundable deposit locks your date, and rescheduling is free at any time.
I recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak season from April to October. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible, so contact me directly to check availability. The gallery arrives within 24 hours, edited and ready for print.
